If you ever encounter a Cookies error when connecting to Free Wi-Fi, don't miss this article.

September 13, 2025

After selecting the AWING Free Wi-Fi network to connect, instead of "populating" the login screen as usual, your device displays an error message about Cookies, suggesting you to enable this feature and try reconnecting to the Internet.

Don't worry, this is not a Wi-Fi error. Simply put, the connection is temporarily interrupted because the Cookies feature on your web browser (for example, Google Chrome) is turned off, and you just need to turn it back on.

See how to enable Cookies below:

For iOS devices:

Step 1: Open Settings

B2: Go to Safari

B3: In the “ Block All Cookies” section, if this feature is On/ Enable , turn it Off/ Disable (as shown below)

For Android devices:

Step 1: Open the web browser on the device (Chrome, Firefox...)

B2: Go to Settings of the browser

B3: Go to Cookies Settings by going to Website Settings/Cookies (this step may vary depending on the type of web browser)

B4: Switch to Enable Cookies status as shown below

NOTE: IOS AND ANDROID ARE REVERSE, IOS NEEDS TO BE DISABLED, ANDROID NEEDS TO BE ENABLED
